For the itb's im gonna make one for the f22... Then do a test and tune on it... Then gonna do a few practice itb's with some junk manifolds, and tbs from old bikes, and then hopefully when the time comes on the k it will be a pretty decent piece...

As far as the K20 swap goes, you'd need custom mounts because the hasport ones only work with K24s.

Also I don't think a K20 makes enough torque for our heavier Accords, and should be left for the civics.

I started to build a K series for my accord, but when I realized how much money it was going to cost me I decided to part it out.

Your looking at:
ECU-$500
K pro-$1000
Engine mounts-$500+
wiring harness-$300
axles-$300+
transmission-$500+($1000 if you want 6spd)

And then of course a million other small things.

I mean if your willing to spend that much on a 15 year old car, then go for it. But for me and a lot of people its just not worth it unless you are building a full out competitive drag car.

I'd just spend the $1-2k on a h22 swap and call it a day.

believe it or not the civic si's have a heavier curb weight than the cd5's. still its nicer to see something with a bit more torque in an accord.

Default K20 or H22...or...or

My newest toy is a 91 Wagon with an F20B. Hadn't heard of it before I bought this one, you tube has some interesting video, I can attest to the reality of what you will see. The clincher for me is price. This engine still sells for less than 800, shares all externals with the H22, it makes buying parts easy, and best of all, runs strong all the way to my setups 8000 rpm red line. Ecu in the wagon is from B18 Integra, although mine still needs tuned its enough to put a smile on every time. I enjoy the fact that its running the stock accord ex trans, 3rd gear puts you over 100, makes for riot 3rd gear roll on time from legal speeds.

I will be recieving the axles, ecu, wiring harness, and tranny when i buy the motor from my friend... That is why it wont be that bad... Ive got a fabricator near by who quoted me 350 dollars for motor mounts... If and when he sells me all the stuff i will be doing really good on it... If not though, an h22 will be inline to the engine compartment...

Also as stated earlier, the motor has already been built... Its got eagle rods, JE pistons, ported and polished head all gasket matched with stage 2 cams, blox intake i believe with ported and polished tb, and all arp bolts and studs... Its a solid motor, and the car ran consistant 11.8's in the quarter... He had a bad wreck though and demolished the back half of the car, and now it just sits in his yard for about 6months now...

Another question is what was the cost of the f20b and install???

With a F20b you just have to be careful because not all parts are compatible with a H series(I know because I have owned both).

Valves, head gasket, rod bearings, and some other pieces aren't the same.
