k20 v. h22...which one is better
i have an f22a6 motor in my Ace and im thinking about what motor to put in. which is better, a k20 or an h22?
and since an h22 is 2.2l should i just do a head swap, would it be best to do a motor swap?

The head swap is the best idea ..... the cast iron sleeves in the F engine are better than the FRM ones in the H22. As I pointed out on another of your threads, the K spins the wrong way, so you'd need a lot of custom work and a new tranny.

that you get from a new head?
+10ish? If that?
The higher power comes from higher compression, which is mostly because of the pistons. I spose you could get new pistons and a new head, complete with solid-state ign and a knock sensor to retard timing, and then you could get about 200+, but for that effort + $, might as well just get one of those engines^. Altough a K engine would not fit without serious modification to the vehicle.

you prefer the k24 over the k20? It can't rev nearly as high safely.
