k20 v. h22...which one is better

a k20 right now goes for about 5 grand, while the motor mounts go for about 1 grand, and the labor alone is crazy!! i would recommend an h22, or if you prefer, just do a head swap.

Why not?
why is it better to stick with it? are u saying that i should just strap on a turbo and let it rip? if a do that im only gonna get like 240hp.

I said nothing about a turbo. Only 240hp...how much do you think you need?

you prefer the k24 over the k20? It can't rev nearly as high safely.
Yea, for an accord. A k20 would be a dog driving around normally. The k24 has more power at lower rpms, would be a much better match for a heavy accord.
I hear you ...... I guess my K-studies are based on Si's and CRX's, so what you say makes sense considering the added weight of the Accord ...... I'm gonna have to look into the K24 a bit .... I noticed that the Corsport frontpage is an EP3 with a K24A2 in it. I guess I've mainly been looking at the 20 because that's what all SI's have in them stock and I like the 8000+ rev limit, but if I can make more power overall and more acceleration from the 24, it's worth looking into.

What exactly is an f22b1 motor. is it dohc vtec?

It's the SOHC Vtec 94-97 EX motor.

So then that means that the f22b2 is dohc, right?
