Hey group - have a recently acquired 2003 Accord V6 218K miles and it is a bit of a project! Lots of issues to fix. While replacing the power steering pump tonight, I noticed a bunch of stuffing under the intake manifold created by mice (previous owner). After cleaning it up, noticed a mystery object that is damaged and appears to belong a few inches to the right of where I have it sitting in the photo. Anyone know what the thing is with the orange plug? It is only a single wire on the connector/plug. The other half of this is in the engine. And does the intake manifold need to be fully removed to replace it? THANKS!!

 

I think I have found it is the knock sensor...
