Mod on an h22

Yea i have I/H/E and an intake manifold, type s cams and skunk2 gear, and i got a hondata s200 but it where my vtec is at 5rpm and redline at 8200rpm, and only made 171 to the wheel, when stock h22a like mines make 160 to the wheels stock

nah, that's about right.......you get very little from bolt on's with a H22/23 since the engine is already flowing very well to begin with......and H23 is 200HP crank so about 155 to the wheels with a manual

then add the fact that an accord weighs a little more then a prelude


it takes major tuning and increasing the compression and stroke to get 200whp on a 2300 - 2400lb prelude

yeah, how much you willing to spend?

i/h/e +type s cam and cam gears is not gonna push out much hp, i used to have 440rr FI, ported head and IM, type S piston with skunk2stage2 cams, rmf header, hondata s100...and it pushed 225whp with 160tq...and of course hella expensive...i rather go with turbo, same amount of money and im sure i will get more than 225whp
