yeah its already got a h22 but it has a few issues, so just going to buy another h22 block, use h23 crank and rods to stroke it, run as high compression as i can without the pistons coming out the top, full JUN valve train, TWM ITBs, Hytech full race header. hopefully net 300whp as i've never seen a NA h22 with more than like 280-290. i guess the cats out of the bag now

o0o0o once you have the NA H22 in your CD5 you should take the old H22 and do a gnarly FI job on it. And then stuff it into a del Sol...

prob scrap it, it has a oil burning issue that seems to come and go as it pleases, and the block itself is chipped which is the only reason why i'm scrapping it and not building it, it still functions fine its just knowing that its there.

and yeah going to sleeve the new one, run 12-13:1 compression. and the h23 crank/rod adds about 5mm to the stroke, and i found those parts for $100, prob just take the crank and get forged rods for safe measures. my friend told me to run 15:1 compression with methanol but idk about that

hmm thats too bad about the block. like finch said they seem nice for other projects lol. anyway. sounds fun the rest of the way. i wish i could get a hold of an accord with an H22. mines cool but i dont want to put anymore money as its body is getting some rust and it has been in an accident. my F22b2 is a monster as it goes now though. but anyway on the 15:1 and methanol. thats not gonna be fun lol. nitro methane is top fuel. tis expensive. a lot of power. youd need to get the front end really rigid and maybe even get a new drivetrain to handle it. thats drag only i think. plus youd have to have the engine completely remastered to handle it. i was thinkin about a top fuel 4 cylinder a couple weeks ago as a good idea lol

nah that type of methanol, like the boost juice people run on FI so they can run more boost without detonation, you still run on gasoline, it just has methanol injection and in my case would have to be run all the time to prevent detonation if i decided to have 15:1 compression.

but i dont think i'll go that route
