Default Motor problems after motor swap

I have a 94 honda accord ex 2.2 L vtech motor. I did a motor swap and put in a reg 16 valve 4 cylinder that come out of a 95 honda accord. Symptoms are low rpms at idol, loss of power, and the engine is surging. When you barely push the gas it surges the rpms up and down up and down so on and so forth. I have replaced the tps, map, and other sensors. When i got the new motor it had a coil pack on it and my original motor did not. I had to take the coil pack off, put my old distributor on and then hook it up. I had to do it that way because the wiring harness did not match. I dont have a clue as to why it is acting like this. I have heard that it will never work right because the ecu and motor cannot work together. Idk but any help/discussion would be helpful

For the idle, be sure all of the air is out of the cooling system.....then check for vac leaks. A good cleaning/adjustment of the IACV and FITV never hurts.

Why were the TPS, MAP and other sensors replaced? Did you have codes for them.

Last, you should get a non-vtec ECU.
