i have a 1996 accord ex vtec .. motor is shot. i have found a different motor but its out of a 95 obd1. since i will have the whole car i was wondering if i can just swap wire harness and ecu. i want to do a h22 swap but no cash at the moment... but either way what do i have to swap or change onto the new motor?

Don't even have to swap the wiring harness. Just need a obd2-1 harness to attach the different ECU.

Might have to swap a few sensor connectors but nothing a soldering iron and a few minutes can't solve.

rywire.com Just make sure to get the right one. Can't remember if our cars are obd2a or obd2b but it should say on their website.

There are some cheaper ones on ebay but I'm not sure I'd trust the quality.
