Default MSD 6A Ignition ?

Does any one know anything about this MSD 6A Ignition? I heard that it does give you power and also give you gas milage too. So does anyone ever have this before?

I used to be interested in it before, but the negative feedback I've heard about it overpowered the positive feedback. Almost everyone I know say that it's not trustworthy, including some who have had the MSD ignition and it ruined their ignitions. One claimed that his car got on fire because of it, but it's still just a claim.

dont even think of buying that crap, the cons out weighs the pro unless you think of turboing your engine.

Useless since the 6thgens timing is computer controlled.

As stated here:the timing is computer controlled in your car. Honda has already controlled it for optimal timing. MSD is worthlessand will only screw up your ignition. Of course MSD is going to tell you it adds a ton of HP and helps gas mileage, they are trying to sell their product! Go ahead and put it on if you want yourcar to quit running right. Better keep a fire extinguisher handy!

P.S. If you do install the MSD and it screws up your ignition, please don't come here and ask us how to fix it[sm=violin.gif]

So what im getting from this is that the stock ignition is better than any aftermarket ingnition system you can find? Because the computer is optimized for the ignition setup it already has?
