My experiences with the Delta 272
#11
Ok so I have an update for those who are interested. I yanked the old tired F22a out last week and installed a minty fresh H22a from JDM Engine Zone. I drove my baby around and boy, the torque this motor has is unreal compared to the F22 and cam. When I had the cam, I had to get into the gas a little bit or wind it the hell up to get it going. HOWEVER, I have taken out some stock untuned H engines with the tired cammed F series and now I see why.
So in other words, this cam has a limited powerband compared to an H22a. The cammed F22a starts to wake up at around 4500 and pulls VIOLENTLY until about 6800.
