need advice on a h22 build

Default need advice on a h22 build

Doing my first engine build guys need some advice from the guys who already did one.my buddy gave me a h22 because rod went though the block,but the head still good just guna take head off and buy another block. My plan is to have a solid na that can be a daily and add still take it to the track. Thanks

Well, just me but you'll want to plan things. Know the "end goal" before you do anything.

And not to confuse things but since you have an "H" head, thought or read about "G" swaps?

About 200-220whp is all you'll get out of a streetable NA h22 build. And even that will be spending a decent chunk of change.

I know it's guna cost money but I'm just guna take my time with it and see were it goes.mybe sleeves,high comp pistons and a decent built heads. I'm not trying to be the fastest but building the car more for an auto track
