what are your guys opinions on this, a H22 with 200k on it, and goes through a quart of oil a week(i believe the piston rings are fried). I was offered this from my friend for free because mommy and daddy just bought him a brand new motor. Is it worth switching out my perfectly functional f22 for a H22 with double the miles. My friend and I would rebuild it so it works functionally, or should I wait untill i can afford a H22 with less miles and problems. your help is greatly appreciated.

Free is good and all, but the time you put into that engine in not free if it craps out on you a few thousand miles after you get it in the car. You would probably be pretty ticked if that happened.
I would take the free H22 anyway though. Try to rebuild it in your "free" time. Then decide if it is worth putting it in your car.

 

Dude, its free. This should not be a difficult decision. You should take the engine, rebuild it over time, putting whatever performance stuff you want on it, and then when you have it all finished, drop it in the car. Or, rebuild it and sell it and put the money toward a turbo for your F22
