Default new cam?

anyone have any opinions on getting a more aggressive camshaft for the f23? Is it a worthwhile upgrade? Also, who makes aftermarket ones?

Do you have the correct valve springs? Just a thought and didnt see you mention changing the springs. Also, my sbc 355 in my old 78 Z28 had a ton of valve train noise with its Engle cam and edelbrock vic jr heads.
