A friend of mine said they save up to 200 bucks in gas a year and also said they can give you an extra 5 horsepower. is that true? and also, what's a logcially price for them? i def. don't want to over pay.

 

no this is not true. however NGK is one of the best for our cars, since most Hondas come stock with them.

 

Well, if your present plugs are the wrong kind, too old, or whatever; then new plugs can save you from wasting that much... That's probably a more accurate way to think about it.

 

They'll give you better throttle response which (some people think/feel) like its 5 horses...but that's about it.

 

NGK are OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer)plugs - your Honda came with them from the factory. They are the best plugs you can buy for your Honda. However, you could invest in the NGK double platinums (Almost $12 each) and maybe get something out of it, but I really don't know if it would do a whole lot.
