Recently bought 2010 6MT coupe. Manual says 5 - 30 oil. Doesn't say synthetic. 1) Should I use synthetic? If so, how often between changes? 2) Got 122K miles on it. Runs great. Doesn't leak. BUT should I look into using 'high mileage' oil? Should I expect oil leaks in near future (mileagewise)? 3) Is there any preventive maintenance specifically for oil leaks?

Yes, use synthetic, don't worry about oil leaks; that's an old wives tale.

 

The recommended oil viscosity is 5W-20.
