it is common eh?

oil pump housing seal eh ? I wonder how they came to that conclusion since the oil pump is inside the lower timing belt cover and have to remove a bunch of stuff to even take a look at it

go to a different shop ASAP, one that specializes on Hondas or if none around ,go to the dealer

that shop is full of it. go to the dealer asap! honda's don't leak oil just for the sake of leaking oil. they probably forgot to put a new crushed washer that goes on the drain plug. always always use that crushed washer (that's why the dealer rules). getting to the oil filter is the hardest part on these cars (but otherwise it is a relatively simple diy job).

diy means (do it yourself). anyways, good luck.

*ROFL* so it went from oil pump housing seal (which as noted isn't even visible without pulling parts off the car) to Oops we forgot a crush washer.... Was it the same shop that you had change the oil that fixed it? or did you go elsewhere?

That's awesome. Good job accord4sroy! You called it [sm=owned.gif]
I guess you learned either to find another oil change place, or to ask the same placeevery time you bring your car there: "Now did you remember to change the crush washer?"
