it should be the other way around. The f22 vtec head sits higher than the non vtec head. I hit this snag when swapping from a f22a down pipe to a f22b1 down pipe. My f22a was flush with my oil pan and the f22b1 down pipe sat about 2in lower.
So at this point if your swapping for a f22a head you will need a f22a timing belt
Also about the bisi cam…I would suggest calling and talking to his sales team. Tell them what all work your doing and what would be the best cam profile for your application.

so i talked to bisi and they said a lvl 3 regrind would be great for me. they also said my TB and intake mani are holding me back. I have a ported h23 intake mani, isnt that the best i can get without going aftermarket? and what TB should i upgrade to?
