What steps did you do?

How much of the can got "sucked" into the engine?

Smoke from the "header" means you have a leak...something you need to address. If the exhaust system is "sealed" all smoke should go out the tail pipe at the rear of the car.

i put about 2/3 in the engine then 1/3 in the gas tank, and how would i address the leak in the headers? And regardless of the leak it didnt seem big enough to not allow basically any smoke go thru the tail pipe...
Steps, vacuum hose while car was on, then thru engine head, then gas tank.
