Hey guys I'm new to the forum so thanks ahead of time for any help. I drive a 1991 Accord with the 4 cylinder engine and Automatic trans with the "Sport" button located on the shifter. Just recently the car has been switching itself in and out of "sport" mode as I drive, holding higher rpm's, and even not shifting into 4th or overdrive(not sure)on the interstate(when the "S" light is on).
-Has anyone experienced this problem before?
-Is there a quick fix to just disable the sport mode so it never comes on?
-Or do I have a bigger problem with transmission or electrical?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I would buy a OBD reader and find out what code(s) it throws..and work from there
