Default Stainless exhaust studs?

Broke another exhaust stud and went searching around. I found some stainless exhaust studs for cheap that I think will work. They are m8x48 and I think the ones on there are m8x37?

Has anyone used stainless for the exhaust studs before and do you think the extra 11mm length sticking out will hurt anything?

M8 refers to the size of the stud. The second # refers to the number of threads per mm. M8x48 stud will NOT work in an M8x37 hole.

Sorry about that, I was in a hurry and figured ..

Our studs are M8x1.25 thread and 37mm overall length. the ones I found are 48mm overall so a little bit longer. Some guy on another forum is making them for porshe cars.

Yeah, 37 or 38 doesn't make any sense as a metric thread pitch. An extra mm of length wont matter as far as I'm aware there isn't anything in the way to prevent that.

I haven't used SS exhaust studs, but might be a bit softer and/or different thermal expansion. Keep an eye on them for working loose over time, but don't sweat it too much.
