exhaust manifold threaded studs came off with nut
I was removing the exhaust from the manifold (see picture) and the threaded studs came out with two of the nuts (see other picture). Why did this happen? is it a problem? how do I correct it?
thanks in advance!

The nut rusted to the stud, making it easier to turn the stud in the head than the nut on the stud. It's fine. Just put anti-seize on the studs when you put the manifold back on. Anti-seize on the studs that the nuts came off of will keep those studs from turning out of the head in the future.
thanks.
Any recommendations for anti-seize?
is this fine?:Amazon.com: Permatex 80078 Anti-Seize Lubricant - 8 oz.: Automotive
