Default Start up trouble

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX and lately it has been chugging heavily during start up and then after a minute it will seeming run fine?

Any ideas as to what I should focus on to fix this?

How many miles on the car and how long since the spark plugs have been changed?

Currently 96k miles and I bought it 3k miles ago so most likely they have not been changed.

Might be a good place to start; you might want to consider doing the plug wires at the same time.

Thank you! Is this something that can be done at a local auto parts store?
