Tach Jumps
I have a 97 EX 2.7 with a 135k miles. Once the engine warms up the tach begins to jump and the engine sounds as if the it is missing. At idle everything seems ok but when I accelerate all symptoms return.
Perhaps a vaccum problem???
Thanks, imcameron

RE: Tach Jumps
welcome to the forum... just to make sure I understand you correctly when the tack jumps it sounds like the engine is following suit? I know someone had a similar issue and it turned out that he just need a tuneup (cap, rotor, plugs, wires etc). Do you have any check engine lights or anything on?
