need some help i got a 96 accord ex with 155, miles it was running great on tile few weeks ago i turn the car off and pull the key out of the ignition and the car was in drive. I cannot turn the car on while is in gear. it still drives good but i had some close calls where i park the car get ready to open the door and the car start rolling. what do you think the problem is anything would help thanks

 

So... Put it in PARK before taking out the key.

There's a mechanism in the lock that's supposed to prevent taking out the key unless it's in PARK. I suppose that's worn out?
