Default Timing Belt Change Information required for Honda Accord 2006 Ex

Hi,

I have 2006 Honda Accord EX V6.
I need to change the timing belt.
Is it good to do it from some good mechanic or Honda dealership is must?

What do you recommend?

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks,
Mayur

Doesn't have to be a dealership. But it would be best to search for a mechanic who has done this job on a V-6 Honda many times before.

Default 2006 accord V6 timikg belt

When does Honda recommend changing the timing belt ? My car is 7.5 years old and has 70000 miles. Oil changed every 3000 miles.

Its due right now (past due actually); the belt should be changed every 105,000 miles or 7 years, which ever comes first.

Yup, right in your Owner's Manual.
