Default which tranny is best???

Hey guys, I recently destroyed my manual transmission from my 94 accord lx. I need to buy another one but I was wondering if I can use the prelude's tranny and which years could I take them out of? thanks!!

all h series and f series are interchangeable. The h22 trans swap will make you a little bit faster. But on the hwy you will be about thousand rpms higher in 5th than your f series trans. The h23 trans will be nice also.

yeah Ive been thinking of the m2y4 but its pretty pricey. The m2l5 which is for the f series from the prelude is pretty affordable and It would be a nice option for turbo but do you think its strong enough?

The m2y4s have a notoriously weak 5th gear syncro. Most have or will develop a 5th gear grind. That said it did take a considerable amount of time off my 1/4 mile compared to the stock tranny.
