Default Transmission on 96 Accord

I notice the transmission has a delay when I first put it in gear. It is like a 2-4 second delay then it shifts into gear(it is an Auto.) Then I can press gas and go. I have had the transmission flushed and it still seems to do it. Any ideas would be a great help.

So what you are saying it is eventually going to give out? I would like to fix it. I was hoping it was inexpensive. Thanks for your help.

Just to help you out, my 1997 does the exact same thing, and my family has always had hondas and they are generally known for slow clutches... it doesn't sound like your car has a problem at all, its just the model.
