Default Transmission oil cooler

Hey Guys,
I've got a 97 honda accord 4 cyl automatic. I was wondering if you think a transmission oil cooler would be a good investment and if I really need it. Have any of you put one on your 96-97 accord? Thanks!

as long as your transmission fluid is changed every 15-30k with HONDA trans fluid, you will not need one.

correct me if i am wrong, but wouldn't a trans. cooler help out all automatic transmissions have a longer life and drop in temperature increases transmission oil life.

Thats true, but if you dont run your car hard and leave it stock it wont be an issue. The 4cyl accords need a transmission cooler if its boosted or the engine is rebuilt because..... well the auto trany sucks....

you can still get one, but most of them are in radiators, so you'll need a new radiator as well. or you can get one with it installed already. i bet a v6 accord same year will have the cooler. it's a good investment because it will extend the life of fluids as well as it will keep the tranny cooler.
