Default Tuning my honda accord

I have been roaming the forum for a while now and finally decided to register, being that I finally bought myself a used '95 Honda Accord. It's pushing 95,000 miles and is Automatic. However, being that it's used and that I just bought it on Sunday, I'm taking it for a tune up/oil change all that good stuff. I was wondering if there is anything else I should do to it or change.

I am also wondering what would help improve my milage on this thing? It's on older model, practically a 12 year old car, and It's my first car so I'm new to the whole thing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds good that your are doing the basic tune up, ngk plugs, honda plug wires, tranny flush and refill with Honda atf fluid only, etc. What do you know about the repair/maintence histiry of this car? You could be looking at a new timing belt, water pump and some other suff.
