upgrade valve springs

Default upgrade valve springs

if i upgrade my valve springs, do i have to upgrade my retainers?? and if i do head work, do i have to run higher octane or can i just run off of regular 87???

Yes you would have to change/upgrade the retainers if you change/upgrade your valve springs. You'll be fine running on 87.

What type of car/engine he has doesnt matter. Its a general question for all engines. Seems obvious to me that he's building the head for his motor.
