I really wish I could help you here. If I were you, I would go to the DIY section and download the shop manual for a 94 Honda Accord EX. There is link to a free one in there. That is where I would start.

Hmm... Hm... Hm... my VTEC knowledge is eluding me. Try searching forum . pdmfi . org for Accord ECU pinouts... You may need a VTEC engine harness and VTEC ECU...

I believe pin A4 is VTEC Solenoid Valve and pin D6 is VTEC pressure switch

But it has to be an ECU from a vtec car. A non-vtec ECU has those pins but they dont do anything.Might not even have wires at that position in the harness.

He says he has an ECU from an OBDI EX (that would be VTEC if it is a 94 or 95 model). But I noticedhe said the ECu was from an automatic. I'm not sure if that will hurt anything or not.

Manual trannies don't have anything to run, lol. You can use an auto VTEC ECU if you need/want to.

On the other hand, you can't use a manual ECU with a auto tranny, the ECU doesn't have the chipset to communicate with the TCU. You'll get a blinking D4 light, but the tranny will operate normally.

Obviously he can't, I said that for people using a manual ECU with an auto tranny... like I was when I had my 5th gen.

I tend to direct all ECU related questions over to pgmfi.org, they are Honda ECU tuning Gods.
