Have you looked into all that you need for the swap? You can't just put in the transmission and go... theres a million parts you need!

Nor have I because of the intensity of the project... you need transmission, gearbox, new sensors, clutch pedal, linkages, etc etc etc...

Based on your questions i am not so sure that this is something that you might want to do ( no offense )
but as for what you need

manual tranny of course, pedals assembly , clutch master + slave cylinders, hydraulic lines, shif rods, different computer, clutch kit, flywheel, different center console, etc etc ...

wow..
that is a lot of stuff to get, how much do you think it will cost total?
parts and labor?
someone on this civic forum said he swapped his for 800 parts and labor, that's unbeliveable

Parts maybe... definitely not labour... if you got someone to do it (if you can find a mechanic that will) it'll come up to about $2000 and personally, for that much money I'd rather go turbo!

labor is cheap when you do it or if you have friends to do it
