ive tried fuel injector cleaning service, and the bottles you buy at auto parts stores, but these things can only go so far.
after almost 17 years of wear and tear, i would like to know when it would be appropriate to change them.
at about how many miles am i due for a new set?

They should be good for the life of the car.

good for life because they will continue working, but they will eventually wear down and spray less effienciently, right?

I've never seen one wear out. Seen engines with over 500,000 miles on em with original injectors working perfect.

Occasionaly we see one leaking, then we just replace the one that is leaking.

Older injectors are subject to some erosion, but I'm talking about the type of nozzles that were commonly used before about 1980.
Mid-'70s to early '80s Bosch CISstuff?

there was a guy who put a review for those injectors, and he said...
"Only difference in performance after installing the headers ive noticed would be that my car accelerates MUCH more smoothly."
and he drives an 01 Cavalier
