Because Honda wires are usually good for the life of the car. A lot of aftermarket wires break the next time you go to tune em up again.

I paid $84. Yeah, they should usually be between $80-$100 but they will definitely last the lifetime of the car. The only reason I changed mine was for peace of mind. I am pretty sure the wires were the same for the previous 130,000 plus miles.

I did make a mistake in replacing the rotor and cap when it didn't need to be, and I used duralast from autozone. So, only use Honda parts. I will probably replace it with the Honda rotor and cap soon.

Anyways, bottom line go with the Honda wires.

I am actually a pretty big fan of duralast products. The batteries have a lifetime warranty! I do use genuine Honda on many parts though. I.e. - timing belt, h2o pump, brake components.
