Default RE: 1994 Accord Motor Mounts

There are 4 mounts total..there is another one near the firewall below the intake manifold. Kinda hard to see. To do a check you need to get a dolly jack and place it under the oil pan and lightly jack up the engine so pressure is taken off the mounts. Then look at the mounts checking for tears or cracks, make sure the rubber isn't hardened or seperated from the metal. Then check to make sure the mount is securely attached to the frame, you can use a large screwdriver to pry on it to see if it moves. If it does lower the engine and tighten the mount bolts. Apply rubber perservative to the mounts to slow deterioration.
