what do i need to replace to get this (SRS) to go off and how do i do it the lady who had it before me said that her mechanic said it was a sensor, (I am very handy with tools just need to know what to do dont want air bags to deploy)

 

Well, not sure if you can get the SRS codes on the 6th gen by jumping the MES connector or not.....Plus be sure there is not a recall for a seat belt switch, or something around that gen.....bottom line, without the code(s), there is a long list of things it could be....

 

yeah i called the honda dealership they said 45 to diagnose it and if it is the seat belt recall its all free, thanks

 

Personally, I'd fight the $45 if it is the switch under recall....you would not be there if the "defective" part didn't bring you there...thats just me.
