Open the radiator cap (***WITH ENGINE COOL***) and start the engine. Let it idle until it reached normal temp, the thermostat should be open at this point, and the coolant will circulate through the engine block. Look at the coolant for signs of flow and movement in the top tank of the radiator, NOT the overflow bottle.

When warmed up I could see no movement of any water in the radiator. I topped it off with the overflow later, got it hot, and it still filled up the overflow. What the heck is going on....?

I looked closely at the front of the radiator and can see a lot of bugs that have hit it. Some still there, some gone but can see where they were....just FYI...

Since you have no coolant circulating through the engine block, it has to be a bad thermostat. That is the only way for coolant to enter the engine, and if it is stuck or just gone bad, that explains why you have the problem... It isn't a big deal to fix, and it is under $20 from Honda for the correct, and quality part.

I took it to a shop and they said it's a blown head gasket, 100% sure they said. They said they did a pressure test and it's definitally the head gasket. Sound about right? I asked him if he could guarantee it 100% and he said yes and that it'll be fixed for about 600 guaranteed...

The head gasket is a seal between the cylinder head and the engine block.

It seals the combustion chambers from the oil passages and coolant passages that go into the cylinder head. Depending on how the gasket failed, oil can mix with coolant, combustion gas/exhaust can get pushed into the coolant passages or other cylinders.

That is very unfortunate. I was hoping for a much less serious solution for you. Best of luck and let us know the outcome. Just an afterthought...A bad thermostat may have led to the blown head gasket by overheating the engine, so be sure that it is replaced as well.
