My daughter has a 02 accord the speedometerworks when it wants to its kind of irraticmaybe sticks in spots also.I believe everything else in the cluster works fine. before she bought the car someone put aftermarket faceplate decals on the entire cluster gauges so i don't know if it would be the needle sticking or bad vss I just dont know. any help would be great Thanks

 

It's pretty easy to damage the meter movements when you install glowing faceplate stuff. Don't think there's much for you to do except buy a new gauge.
