Default 02 honda accord headlight switch?help

I have a 02 Honda Accord just bought..and my dash lights wont light up? All fuses are still good? grounds look good? I found a lot of bulbs burnt out in dash and replaced the big ones for light up? When I go to turn on the switch the odometer goes dim and parking light goes out? Headlights, tail lights, interior, ect..everything works but dash lights? Can I get some help?

You will need to remove the steering wheel covers (top and bottom) and measure resistance (continuity checks) at connector from column switch to determine if combination switch assy is faulty.

Do you have a honda shop manual? A wiring diagram is essential. There is a troubleshooting diagram in manual to show what measurements (short or open) to expect.

good luck

To tell if the Multiplex Control Unit (MCU) located in the driver's side fuse box is bad, see this video. Follow his instructions, if your lights come back on when you do this, the MCU is bad.
