I just had to have the trans rebuilt in my '03 Accord Coupe EX V6 at about 98,000. The problem is that everytime I get the car back from the shop I am bringing it back the next day b/c the "D" light on my dsah indicator is blinking. When the mechanic road tests it he says the light does not blink for him & he cannot give me any insight as to why it would happen. Clearly there is some kind of trans issue still, but I have no clue as to what the possibilities are. Please help...

 

Is the blinking a steady rhythmic blinking or is the blinking erratic (especially when you're moving)?

 

Go to a parts store, many of them will read the trouble codes for free. Then post the actual number code on this forum.

 

The blinking is steady, but doesn't start till the car is warmed up well (approx 5-10 mins into driving). The trans shop did say that some codes were generated that may have been related (p0872 & p0873), but that he checked the "parts that these codes were referencing & they were functioning normally."
