04 accord ex lights stay on
i have an 04 accord coupe ex 2.4l. And the light on the gauges / Stereo numbers and window and lock controls stay on. The Iluminations .. It has been doing this since we bought it. The previous owner had a jumper in the fuse box that shut them off but how only works for gauge lights. We have been disconnecting the battery since if it sits for more then about 5 hours the car won't start due to battery drain.. If anybody knows anything about this or has had this issue please help. And FYI at one point the radio may have got wet because previous owner left sunroof open... Thank you

There is either a short in the circuit and/or the previous owner did some incorrect re-wiring due to electrical issues he/she could not easily resolve.
You will probably need a multi-meter to do some testing at various points in the circuit. If you are willing and able to do so, let us now.
One of first things would be to unplug the connector at the combination headlight switch and see if the interior lights still are illuminated. You'll have to remove the steering column cover to access the connector.
