You might want to try spraying something like wd40 on each pulley to see if the noise will go away temporarily. Try to get it on just the part of the pulley that rotates. Maybe this would help narrow it down.

I would also suggest doing this on a cold engine.

Default already tried wd40

i tried the wd40 and even purchased that special can with the built in
straw to spray semi precisely. didn't work, I swapped out the power steering pump just to be sure( went with a complete one from boneyard, just in case it was something with the pulley and not the pump, that has to be one of the easiest items to change. I drove it 300 miles to get to my "vacation spot"
and purchased an A/C compressor from the local boneyard before I left
(just in case). if I have some free time during week I might change it since that is all that is left. If noise is still there then I will shot the car.

Not sure on the 04's but you may be able to just replace the clutch assy. This wouls save the vac - recharge of the ac system.

If there is room to do it "in the car". You would need a "ac clutch" holder, should be able to rent one.

With the belt off, do you feel anything when spinning the ac pulley....I know it isn't under load but worth checking.
