The alternator pulley is loose and wobbling. Anyknow know if i need to take off the entire alternator to fix this? the bolt spins with the pulley and i really have no idea what i am doing.

Default RE: Alternator Pulley Loose, threw belt

You need to add trim/year to your signature line to provide some guidance. Lock nut generally secures the bolt that retains the pulley to alternator. Loss of lock nut might allow pulley to come loose. May be repairable.

good luck
