Question 05 Break noise

I have an 05 Accord with less than 60000 miles. Coming back form vacation I started to hear a knocking sound when I applied the breaks. If I have to push the breaks hard the noise is real loud. You can't feal anything in the pedal. Any thoughts??

make sure wheel lug nuts are tight , if so...,remove the wheels and inspect brakes, calipers, frt suspension components for wear or loose bolts,,

It sounds like it is coming from the rear. Could this be part of the ABS system?

could be a # of things , it is almost impossible to properly diagnose noises without being there to hear it ..

chk rotors for warpage , besides all the stuff i advised before ,, if it is coming from the rear , chk all the rear components ,,

I would check how much pad material you have left on the rears. On some of the newer Accords like my 2003 the rear pads don’t last long.
