05 EXL Coupe tires

Guys,
I just bought an 05 Exl Accord V6 Coupe/auto trans.The car has 205/60/16's on it.The same car with manual trans has 17" tires and rims.Whats the deal?Why not 17" tires and rims for both auto/man trans?Thanks

Probably a dealer option that person bought at the time of purchse. Back in 95 there was a 14" steelie and a 15" alloy option. I don't think it has anything to do with the transmission
