When I turn on the ac it blows cold air on passenger side vents, and warm on drivers side vents. Even the vent in the center of the dash is split cold on passenger side and warm on drivers side.
Eventually it seems to start working ok but can do this for some time. In the Alabama heat and humidity I need it to work all the time.
Any ideas?

 

You might try shutting it off and re-starting it. That's what I have to do with my 06 Chevy pickup.

 

You may want to have the pressures tested on the a/c system using a manifold. The high and low side pressures can indicate the type of problem you have with the system.
