I have an 07 Accord EX V6 that needs front lower ball joints. I'm seeing conflicting reports on replacing them. Most of the major parts stores offer a lower ball joint for sale, but I've seen repair guides that say you have to replace the whole knuckle, and that's all that Honda sells.

Anyone?

Looks like you can replace the rubber boot, but not the actual ball joint. I'm pretty sure on earlier years (5th-gen??) it was replacable, so that's probably why you've seen conflicting information.
