Hey guys,

I got an 08 Accord coupe. Every time I moved the passenger seat forward (so you can access the back seat)...the red airbag light on my dash comes on. It stays on there until I turn off and start the car up again. Move the passenger seat up...comes on again.

Thinking I have loose wires or something somewhere? Not sure how this came about...I do remember one time my friend move the passenger seat up really hard one time when he was trying to get to the back. Not sure if it caused it...but trying to get this fixed.

 

If my car, I'd see this is an indicator malfunction, nothing more serious.
So I'd put a piece of black electrician's tape over the indicator light.
This tape doesn't leave a residue when you pull it off later.

Of course, it's not my car ...
