Default 10 generation Accord owners

Just did a test drive on a 2018 Accord 1.5L 6mt. I currently own a 2000 Accord and have they grown in size since I bought mine. I don't want a CVT tranny, so I'm left with either a 6mt Sport 1.5 or a Sport 2.0. Does anyone on this forum have a 2018? I'd like to get some insight into their thoughts and experience with the new Accord. I found the clutch waaaay too soft. It felt like I was pressing on a soft sponge. The turbo lag was another negative for me. I'd like to test drive the 2.0 6mt, but the dealership told me that if I wanted to get a 2.0 6mt, I'd have to put a deposit down on it. The difference in price between the 1.5L and the 2.0L is $4.5K, a hefty sum in my opinion.

I own an '18 Accord Sport 2T. Bought it in May.

Absolutely love the performance, handling and usefulness of the car. If you are considering price an issue, buy the Civic. The Civic is the best value.

That said, for the Accord I say you need the 2T and the manual transmission. So much fun to drive and 30 mph
