I just purchased a 1982 Accord 3dr. and have a tranmission issue. When I purchased the car the original owner stated the trans did not shift right until the car was warmed up. This was true upon a test drive before purchase. I checked fluid once I got home and level was fine but fluid was dark. So I decided to change the fluid. Now it shifts fine from 1st to 2nd but from 2nd to 3rd it revs up fro a second or two then drops down and shifts. This happens after it is warmed up. I dont understand why it would shift fine then shift weird now. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what I can try? Thanks in advance for any help.
